Slot 1 is treated as the required on-camera narrator/speaker - the clip is explicitly instructed to preserve that face throughout. Slots 2-3 are optional supporting participants or objects. Not used by HeyGen (no reference-image support in its API). If attached: Veo clips generate at 8s (Google's requirement for image-referenced video).

7 · ElevenLabs Voice (optional, voice ID picker)

Connect your ElevenLabs account and pick a Voice ID to get real narration audio generated per segment. For HeyGen: also fill in a HeyGen Avatar ID above and each clip is generated in HeyGen's audio-driven mode using this exact voice, for genuine lip-synced consistency across segments. For Veo: it does not accept external audio, so the narration is generated alongside each clip as a downloadable file to mux in your own editor instead. The Voice ID is also still written into your script's TECHNICAL SPECS block as before.

What is ScriptForge?

ScriptForge is a browser-based AI tool from TAHA Studio Labs that turns one idea, or a script you paste in, into a timed video script split into segments. Each segment comes with TTS-ready dialogue, B-roll prompts, camera motion and audio notes.

How long are the video segments?

ScriptForge splits your script into precisely timed segments of 10 to 15 seconds. A project can run from 30 seconds up to 5 minutes.

Which AI video generators does ScriptForge work with?

Google Veo 3.1 and HeyGen Video Agent. You choose the generator for each segment, for example Veo for B-roll and scenes and HeyGen for a talking presenter.

Do I need my own API keys?

Yes. You bring your own API key for the AI writing provider and for each video generator you use, and you pay those providers directly with no markup. Your scripts and keys are relayed for a single request only, and are never stored or logged.

Is ScriptForge free?

Yes, ScriptForge is FREE. The Mock Test needs no account, and every free account gets full Pro access. You only pay the AI providers for your own usage, with your own API keys.

What kinds of video can I make?

ScriptForge has five production types: short movie scripts, short documentaries, short adverts, podcasts and public addresses.

What is the difference between ScriptForge and ScriptEngine?

ScriptEngine focuses on writing a full cinematic production script with a character registry. ScriptForge focuses on turning a script into timed segments and video clips. You can try ScriptEngine here.

Long-Form Project

Projects (Master Bible, plan, units, continuity history) live only in this browser, on this device, same as the Character Library. Use this for productions longer than a single Quick Generation can hold: ScriptForge plans how many generation units your target runtime needs for whichever provider/model you have selected in section 2, generates them one at a time with continuity carried forward between them, and assembles the locked units into one master script that feeds the same Library/PDF/video pipeline as Quick Generation.
